About PSP

The library, which has a floor space of 2854 square meters, opened in July 1999. The library can accommodate up to 800 users at a time in this area.The PSP Library's goal is to ensure that the services it provides are of high quality in terms of helping learning, teaching, and research initiatives. The library's collection contains 52,000 items, which include books, magazines, journals, annual reports, and other materials. The PSP library employs the KOHA system, which was originally implemented on August 2, 2010. The library has a portal website to search any available reference resources they have.

Seberang Perai Polytechnic has been allocated RM 3.13 million under the Eleventh Malaysia Plan (RMK 11) for the Existing Library Upgrading Project, which will result in an additional user capacity of 200 people and the modernization of facilities such as seminar rooms and library security systems using RFID technology.

  • The Administration Division is responsible for efficiently and successfully planning and managing administrative matters, personnel and student management, infrastructure, and financing.
  • It also ensures that administrative affairs, service management, finance, and accounts are conducted in line with rules and instructions established by the Management of Seberang Perai Polytechnic or the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.

  • Human Resources and Finance are the two divisions, each managed by a Senior Executive Officer and an Assistant Accountant.

  • Staff appointments, employment confirmations, pension plan enrollment, promotions, various sorts of leave, and the Department Personal System are all processed by the Human Resource Unit (SISPEN).

  • The Finance Unit, on the other hand, is in charge of resource procurement and budget management.
