Residence at the Student Residence College

1. On Thursday, both male and female students have access to campus housing.

2. Due to a limited number of spaces, first semester students and Student Representative Council (SRC) students who supervise student activities are given priority for this facility. Students who require lodging on Thursday on the other hand, can appeal to the Chief Warden for consideration.

 

Accommodation Away from Campus (Rental House)

The majority of Seberang Perai Polytechnic students live off-campus in rented residences near the Seberang Perai Polytechnic campus. Occasionally landlords put their advertisement about their rental house or apartment in the Department of Student Affairs.

 

 

SERVICES

Health-care services

All polytechnic students have access to healthcare at government hospitals and health centres.

Please request a letter of confirmation from the warden for students needing treatment at the public hospital /health centre.

 

Insurance

Group insurance covers all students enrolled at Seberang Perai Polytechnic.

 

Safety

1. For security purposes, all office areas, academic departments, units, lecture rooms, laboratories, workshops, multipurpose halls, lecture halls, and other areas declared are restricted areas to students after 7.00 pm.

2. Students need to get permission from the warden or the department/unit if they need to be in the area mentioned for any purpose.
